1609.7.2 Buildings with h > 60 ft.

BC § 1609.7.2

The design wind pressure for canopies attached to walls of buildings with h > 60 ft. and hc/h < 0.5, as shown on Figure 1609.7, shall be from the following equation: P = qh(GCpn) (lb/ft 2 ) (Equation 16-42) Where: qh = velocity pressure at mean roof height h per Chapter 26 of ASCE 7. GCpn = net pressure coefficient for attached canopies given in Table 1609.7.
