1604.9 Wind and seismic detailing.

BC § 1604.9

Lateral force-resisting systems shall meet seismic detailing requirements and limitations prescribed in this code and ASCE 7 Chapters 11, 12, 13, 15, 17 and 18 of this code as applicable, even when wind load effects are greater than seismic load effects. Where ASCE 7 references Chapter 14 of ASCE 7 those references shall not apply, except as specifically required in this code.
