1510.4 Cooling towers.

BC § 1510.4

Cooling towers shall be of noncombustible construction. Exceptions: 1. Fill and drift eliminators of limited combustible materials may be considered noncombustible if the cooling towers are provided with automatic sprinkler protection complying with Section 903.

2.Fill and drift eliminators that comply with Section 908 of the New York City Mechanical Code.
