1205.2.1 Minimum opening.

BC § 1205.2.1

The minimum net glazed area shall be not less than 10 percent of the floor area of the room served. Every opening providing required natural light shall be at least 12 square feet (1.1 m 2 ) of glazed area. Exception: For Group R-3 occupancies, the net glazed area shall be not less than 10 percent of the floor area of the room served, or 12 square feet (1.1 m 2 ), whichever is greater.
