§ 992 SECTION 992 Judgment in proceeding for share of unknown heirs

RPAPL § 992

Unknown heirs or their representatives not appearing shall be barred from any interest and the court shall render a judgment that the interest of such unknown heirs was vested in the known heirs of the ancestor from whom the unknown heirs derived title and that the proceeds be paid out of court to the persons entitled thereto.
