§ 59A-01 Scope of this Subchapter.

(a)To establish the procedures, rules and requirements for obtaining and maintaining a For-Hire Vehicle License, including: (1) For-Hire Livery Vehicles (2) For-Hire Black Car Vehicles (3) For-Hire Luxury Limousine Vehicles (b) To provide penalties for violations of the rules and requirements for maintaining a For-Hire Vehicle License.
(c)Except as otherwise provided, this chapter does not apply to For-Hire Vehicles that are Street Hail Liveries. The requirements for Street Hail Livery service are provided in 35 RCNY Chapter 82.
