§ 37-09 Public File.

RCNY § 37-09

(a)The Property Division will maintain a public file for each property for which a request for review was made by the owner or on which any action was taken by the Department pursuant to these rules. Such file will be located at the central office of the Property Division and will contain: (1) written records relating to any change in assessment made by the Department on its own initiative pursuant to 19 RCNY § 37-05 which shall provide the reasons for such change; (2) any request for review filed with the Department by a property owner pursuant to 19 RCNY § 37-06, together with any supporting documentation submitted by the owner except as provided in subdivision (f) of 19 RCNY § 37-06; and (3) if a property owner meets with members of the Property Division pursuant to subdivision (e) of 19 RCNY § 37-06, a standardized form to be completed by the Property Division which shall contain the names of those persons in attendance at the conference and the substance of the meeting.

(b)Any document contained in the public file pursuant to this section will be redacted if necessary to delete any material that may not be legally disclosed.
