§ 24-07 Penalties.

RCNY § 24-07

(a)Any person subject to this chapter who controls, operates, or otherwise causes an unmanned aircraft to take off or land within New York City without a permit issued pursuant to this chapter, or who violates the terms and conditions of such permit or any provision of this chapter, shall be subject to a civil penalty in an amount as follows: (1) For a first violation, $250.00; (2) For a second violation within a one-year period, $500.00; and (3) For a third and subsequent violation within a one-year period, $1,000.00.

(b)Notwithstanding subdivision (a) of this section, any person who causes an unmanned aircraft to take off or land in violation of § 10-126 of the Administrative Code may be charged with a misdemeanor pursuant to such section. (Added City Record 7/21/2023, eff. 7/21/2023)
