§ 13-05 Wholesaler Registration Requirements in a Seafood Distribution Area.

Notwithstanding any provisions of this subchapter, where the Commission, pursuant to subdivision b of § 22-222 of the Code, declares and establishes an area where one or more wholesale seafood business have been established to be a seafood distribution area, all wholesale seafood businesses which operate within such area, and the principals, employees and/or agents of such businesses, shall be subject to all the provisions governing wholesaler registration set forth in Chapter 1-A of Title 22 of the Code and subchapter B of this chapter. When such provisions are applied to a seafood distribution area, the term "market area" as contained therein shall be deemed to include such seafood distribution area.
