What is NYC MC § 1305.14.1.7?

Quick Answer

This section outlines the requirements for manholes on tanks containing various grades of commercial oils. It specifies that manholes are not required for certain oil grades but must be gas tight if used. The statute also mandates that tanks for heavier oil grades have secured manhole covers and specific connections for measuring oil levels. Applies to operators of oil storage tanks.
