What is NYC FGC § 303.3.1.3?

Quick Answer

This section mandates that appliances be hard-wired to carbon monoxide detectors in a supervisory signaling mode. If the connection is not detected, the appliance will not start and will alert the operator. It also requires a visible carbon monoxide fault indicator and prohibits automatic reset. Applies to operators of appliances with carbon monoxide detection features.
