Ilma Babu

Ilma Bau is a Legal Coordinator at Nacmias Law Firm, PLLC, where she plays a central role in supporting the firm's administrative and client-facing operations. Her day-to-day responsibilities include attending OATH hearings, managing all legal administrative work related to OATH violations, calendaring matters, and corresponding with clients. She works closely with attorneys and clients to ensure matters move efficiently and deadlines are met.

With over ten years of experience in legal and adjudicative roles, Ilma brings a strong background in organization, communication, and managing high-volume workloads. Prior to joining the firm, she worked in the Department of Defense Counterintelligence, where she adjudicated matters for both military and civilian populations. She holds a Certified Adjudication credential from the Department of Defense, a bachelor's degree in Legal Studies and Homeland Corporate Security, and a master's degree in International Affairs and National Security. Known for her collaborative approach, Ilma is a dedicated team player who is always willing to step in and get the work done.

Ilma is fluent in speaking Bengali, Hindi, and Urdu languages. She has been involved in her family's real estate business for over a decade. Outside the office, she enjoys cooking and traveling, and is passionate about community development.
