§ 18-148.1 Cleaning playground equipment after pesticide exposure.

AC § 18-148.1

a. As used in this section, the following terms have the following meanings: Park playground equipment. The term "park playground equipment" means playground equipment which is located within a playground operated by or under the jurisdiction of the department, including those for which the department has an agreement with a conservancy or other not-for-profit organization with respect to operation of any aspect of a playground. Pesticide. The term "pesticide" shall have the same meaning as provided in section 17-1101 of this code. b. Within 24 hours of the spraying of any pesticide by or on behalf of a city agency, the department shall clean all park playground equipment located less than the minimum distance from such spraying, as set forth in rule by the department of health and mental hygiene, at which such equipment will not be exposed to such pesticide.
