RCNY § 12-01

When any law, regulation, or order, including, but not limited to, § 27-2043.1 of the Administrative Code of the City of New York (“Administrative Code”) and 24 RCNY Health Code § 131.15, requires the installation of “window guards” in certain dwelling units and public areas of multiple dwellings, window fall prevention devices that are constructed and installed in accordance with the specifications set forth in this Chapter, and that are registered with the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, must be used.
