414.5.2.1 Exempt applications.

BC § 414.5.2.1

Emergency or standby power is not required for the mechanical ventilation systems provided for any of the following: 1. Storage of Class IB and IC flammable and combustible liquids in closed containers not exceeding 6.5 gallons (25 L) capacity.

2.Storage of Class 1 and 2 oxidizers.

3.Storage of Class II, III, IV and V organic peroxides.

4.Storage of asphyxiant, irritant and radioactive gases.
