414.3 Ventilation.

BC § 414.3

Rooms, areas or spaces in which explosive, corrosive, combustible, flammable or highly toxic dusts, mists, fumes, vapors or gases are or may be emitted due to the processing, use, handling or storage of materials shall be mechanically ventilated where required by the New York City Fire Code or the New York City Mechanical Code. Emissions generated at workstations shall be confined to the area in which they are generated as specified in the New York City Fire Code and the New York City Mechanical Code.
