3301.4.1 Inspection of equipment where the code does not specifically require an inspection.

BC § 3301.4.1

Where this code does not specifically require an inspection, any equipment, except hand tools, that would affect the safety of the public or property when operated shall be inspected by a competent person designated by the contractor using the equipment before the equipment is used at the site and on a periodic basis thereafter throughout the duration of the job. The results of the inspection shall be documented in an inspection checklist signed and dated by the competent person who performed the inspection. (Am.
