BC § 1109.7.2.2.5

Accessibility function buttons and floor selection controls shall be tactilely discernible and shall be raised above surrounding surfaces. When pressed, buttons shall provide mechanical motion to indicate activation. Where a step scanner complying with Section 1109.7.2.2.4.2 is provided, the "up" and "down" arrows shall include tactilely discernible "up" and "down" arrows. The "up" and "down" arrows shall be tactilely distinct from the tactile marking on the accessibility function button.
