1030.2 Minimum size.

BC § 1030.2

Emergency escape and rescue openings shall have a minimum net clear opening of 6 square feet (0.56 m 2 ). Exception: The minimum net clear opening for grade-floor emergency escape and rescue openings shall be 5 square feet (0.46 m 2 ) unless such opening is required for natural ventilation in accordance with Chapter 12.
