§ 6-37 Determination of Public Nuisance.

RCNY § 6-37

For the purposes of this subchapter, "public nuisance" shall have the meaning set forth in § 23-401 of the Code and 67 RCNY § 6-01. The Commissioner may determine that a public pay telephone constitutes a public nuisance when a written complaint is made, including, but not limited to a complaint by the Community Board in the Community District in which such telephone is located stating that such public pay telephone constitutes a public nuisance, as so defined. The complaint must also be verified by the police precinct in which such telephone is located.
