§ 301-01 Marinas.

RCNY § 301-01

(a)Scope. This section sets forth requirements for the supervision of marinas mooring or storing more than five (5) marine vessels or watercraft 65 feet or less in length.

(b)General Provisions.

(1)Supervision. (A) Every facility regulated by this section shall at all times during regular business hours be under the personal supervision of a person holding a certificate of fitness. Such individual shall be responsible for ensuring compliance with the requirements of this section. (B) Where watercraft berthed in a facility regulated by this section are occupied overnight, a fire watch shall be maintained at all times other than regular business hours. A watchman time detector and watchman service shall be provided on a 24 hour basis. Such watchman shall hold a certificate of fitness as a fire guard and shall make hourly rounds to each of the stations. Records of these rounds shall be maintained.
